ADU is an acronym for Accessory Dwelling Unit. An ADU is a separate building (attached or detached) that is used for a person to live in that does not live with the main family on the property. Examples include caretakers of the property or main family, older family members, such as grandparents, that are not able to live on their own.

Modular (also Modular Design)
Modular design (also modular or modularity in design) is a design principle that subdivides a system into smaller parts called modules (such as modular process skids), which can be independently created, modified, replaced, or exchanged with other modules or between different systems.

For example, if a home has a modular design, that means you can put many together to create a larger design.

One company that uses modular design is Boxabl.

Park Model
The Recreation Vehicle Association (RVIA) defines park model RVs as a unique trailer-type RV that is designed to provide temporary accommodation for recreation, camping or seasonal use. RMPVs are built on a single chassis, mounted on wheels, and have a gross trailer area not exceeding 400 square feet in the set-up mode.
